Interhelp Update, September 2008

You are invited to the upcoming annual Interhelp Gathering, entitled
Creating Community, Creating Movement. We begin with dinner on
Friday, Nov. 14 and finish up by sharing lunch on Sunday, Nov. 16.

Our location: Woolman Hill Quaker Retreat Center in rural Deerfield, MA.

Themes include sharing our gratitude, honoring our pain for the
world, and going forth with courage and resilience. And much more!

For all the details, go to www.interhelpnetwork.org

Please see below for announcements of additional events, including an
eastern MA afternoon get-together.

Wishing you blessings and deep joy in your work for the Great Turning.

The Boston-and-beyond Interhelp network will have its Fall
get-together on Sunday afternoon, September 28, in Cambridge, from 2
PM to 6 PM.

Anyone interested in the Work that Reconnects is most welcome.

We will start at 2, but you are invited to come for a cup of tea (or
other beverage) at 1:30.

Place: Rosalie & Paul Anders' home, 154 Auburn St., Cambridge (near
Central Square).

This will be a chance to renew connections and make new ones. We will
do one or two group exercises designed to help us uncover and share
some of our feelings about what is happening in the world. Also, we
will discuss ways of bringing these kinds of exercises into other
settings and ways we can use them to sustain ourselves.

At 5:00 there will be a potluck meal for whoever would like to stay
and take part.

Please RSVP to Rosalie Anders at 617-868-6058, or e-mail her at
randers@cambridgema.gov. Also, feel free to contact her if you have
any questions or comments, or if you need directions to her apartment.
